  • May 26 | Pirate Adventure (4-Day Week)

    Pirate Adventure: Ahoy Mateys! Day campers jump aboard Captain Ozzie’s pirate ship and live the life of a pirate; creating pirate hats, patches, hooks, and even their own pet parrot. Campers join together to help Ozzie find his buried treasure wearing their pirate garb. Ozzie is known to share his pirate coins with campers! Come join us on a Rancho pirate adventure!

    *No camp on Monday May 25 due to the Memorial Day Holiday.
    Tuition is prorated to reflect a 4-day camp week.

    June 1 | Super Safari

    Day campers are on a mission to find the most exciting and rare animals in the jungle. Campers will crawl through the tall grass and peer through at some of nature’s most magnificent creatures. We will be making our own binoculars, vests, and safari hats before heading out on a one of a kind Rancho adventure. Perhaps Ozzie will join in the fun!

    June 8 | Kings, Queens and Castles

    Hear ye, hear ye! Calling all Lords and Ladies of the land. Join us in the Camp Kingdom as we take off on an adventure back in time. Campers will enjoy puppet shows, Renaissance dance parties, and the Noble Knight training course. Make your own Renaissance costume complete with family crest! Beware of the wise wizard, Ozzie as he’s been known to cast spells that make water balloons fall from the sky.

    June 15 | Silly Scientists

    June 22 | Star Wars Padawan Academy

    Climb aboard the Millennium Falcon and set your sights for a Galaxy Far Far Away! See if you have what it takes to be the next Rancho Jedi as campers compete with fellow Padawans in StormTrooper Bowling. Our Day Camp Padawan program will blow campers’ minds as they build lightsabers and go through The Saber Training Academy with the great Ozzie-Yoda.

  • June 29 | Ozzie's Patriotic Celebration (4-Day Week)

    Oh say can you see…all the patriotic-packed games and crafts in store for campers as we celebrate our nation’s birthday along with Ozzie’s. Shhh! We are throwing Ozzie a surprise party! Campers create patriotic hats, construct firecracker shakers, decorate Ozzie’s birthday card, have a watermelon contest, and participate in the U.S.A.-themed fun and games. This is a jam-packed week full of celebrations!

    July 6 | Mini Minions

    Come and Join our Mini Minions for a week as we celebrate the release of Minions: The Rise of Gru. Campers will practice their Minionese language skills and go on an awesome scavenger hunt to track down the elusive Gru. By the end of the week all of our Mini Minions will make costumes, compete in the Rancho Banana Toss, and create a Minion snack to eat or take home to the family!

    July 13 | Wild Wild West

    Wild Wild West
    Yee-haw! And welcome to the Wild West! Put on your cowboy hat and look toward the horizon for some awesome Western-themed activities and crafts. Expect a visit from the silliest cowboy around, Oxbow Ozzie. Campers will have fun creating their own cowboy costumes and testing out their ranch hand skills in friendly competitions throughout the week. Saddle up for a week in the West you won’t forget!

    July 20 | Dr. Seuss Is On The Loose!

    Join Thing One and Thing Two and step into the wonderful world of Dr. Seuss! Let’s work and play together all week long to discover all of the amazing adventures that Dr. Seuss has in store. Can you find the Cat in the Hat during our camp-wide scavenger hunt? Campers will work together to solve puzzles, create fun names for mythical creatures, and make their very own Truffula Tree to take home!

    Rancho campers’ experiences should be as diverse as their growing interests. Day Camp offers a variety of hands-on activities for curious young minds. Our adult/teacher-led staff provides a setting for exploring, creating, discovering, and eye-opening activities for uncovering talents and forging new friendships. Through a mix of art, music, introductory science and performing arts, Day Camp is much more than a typical day at camp! Enjoy a safe, nurturing and stimulating traditional camp environment with a new themed-session each week–allowing campers to enroll in multiple weeks, if not for the entire summer.

    • All Day Campers Must Be Fully Potty Trained To Attend Day Camp
    • Each Camper In Day Camp Receives A Camp T-Shirt (one shirt per summer) and Morning Snack at No Additional Cost.

    At the Rancho Solano Day Camp, we provide a safe, nurturing and fun-filled environment our younger campers. Our well-trained and experienced teacher/early childhood counselors foster personal growth and development each every child. Our primary focus in Day Camp is for campers to: meet new friends, learn new skills, try new things, and gain confidence that will benefit them for years to come.

    At Rancho Solano, our day campers learn, have fun and are continually encouraged to realize their potential. Whether it is through music, arts, imagination, or instructional swimming the goal is to build self-confidence and to maintain an environment of constant positive experience. Activities are child-centered, and emphasize social development, character development, leadership, team work. The goal in each activity is to build self-esteem by encouraging children to feel capable and confident in their abilities that inevitably create the effort over results mentality upon which Rancho Solano Summer Camps was built.


    Rancho Solano Camps offers extended care before and after the camp day for children who need to arrive early or stay late. Campers in the extended care program participate in a variety of well-supervised, age-appropriate activities ranging from sports, stories and puzzles to board games.

    Extended Care Hours
    • Morning Extended Care is available from 7:30 am to 9:00 am
    • Afternoon Extended Care is available from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm
    • Extended Care is available weekly and daily

    Regular Camp Hours
    • Regular Drop-off is from 8:45 am to 9:05 am
    • Regular Pick-up is from 2:50 pm to 3:10 pm

    Rancho Camps has an extremely strict late pickup policy and an associated penalty fee — please pick your camper up by 5:30 pm to avoid that penalty from being automatically charged.

  • Day Camp Traditions

    Rancho Solano Summer Camps has established many wonderful traditions. Every day in camp is an opportunity to create memories and overall fun. Rancho Summer Camps treasure its daily routines and traditions. All of our programs center on the enjoyment of creative play and learning.
  • Morning Meeting

    To set the day off to a great start Rancho Solano Camps has campers participate in the official “opening” and “closing” of camp each day. Campers take on the responsibility of setting a positive tone each morning and afternoon. Blowing the camp starter horn, banging on the Rancho Solano Gong, leading the group with spirit cheers; all of these are key parts of camp that promote joy as well as pump energy into fellow campers and staff as we open and close another great day of camp.

    The Spirit Stick

    The most coveted of all camp objects, the Spirit Stick is awarded each morning at Morning Meeting! Each day, campers compete as a team to win the honor of possessing the Spirit Stick for the next day.

    The Day Camp “Fist Bump” Award

    Day Campers take on the morning responsibility as an official greeter for arriving campers positive energy and music create a welcoming and fun start to the day. This is also the time where fist bumps (similar to a high five, but with a little “razzle dazzle”) are abundant. Campers will take on this honored tradition and represent their camp group with pride.

    Plinko for Icees

    Throughout the week, campers cheer on their peers as the Plinko puck drops, deciding the fate of whether or not the campers will receive an ice-cold ice pop. On really hot days, the Plinko Board has an amazing way to find the proper slot so everyone wins!

    Counselor Competitions

    Creative and fun staff games where campers support their own program counselors and have the opportunity to see them participate in team-building and friendly competitions both physical and mental. Our Oreo Cookie on the forehead contest is a hit for all campers (and counselors).

    We like to take advantage of the hot sun as well as a helpless staff member–where campers throw and counselors get dunked in front of their peers to cheers all around

    The Rancho Solano Rock Wall

    All campers throughout the week will have an opportunity to climb the wall and aim to ring the bell at the top!

    Family Fun Night

    The best time of the summer! Towards the end of each summer all families (siblings and friends included) are invited back to an evening of fun and entertainment. DJ tunes, face painting, moon bounces, carnival snacks and family games are enjoyed to celebrate the summer camp season coming to a close
